18-hole course in the Danube wetlands and terraced along the Braunsberg
Just under 50 km east of Vienna, a little outside the handsome medieval town of Hainburg, lies Golf Club Hainburg. Part of the 18-hole course is embedded in the Danube wetlands, while the remainder runs in terraces along the slopes of the Braunsberg. Thanks to the mild Pannonian climate the course is playable almost all year round. The Danube wetlands provide unique marshland habitats, while the Braunsberg slopes are designated dry grassland. Conscious of its position right beside a nature reserve, the club actively protects the local flora and fauna through gentle course maintenance. This exceptional setting makes every round a special encounter with nature.

- Restaurant seating around 120 indoors and 60 on the terrace
- Clubhouse rebuilt and extended in 2009

- From the tees of holes 7 and 17 there are views to Bratislava and the ruins of Devín Castle.
- Access: Minimum handicap for visitors: -45. A basic course permit alone is not sufficient here.
